ENTRY FEE
- Pre-entries will be limited to Washington County and adjoining counties in Ohio and West Virginia.
- A $1.00 entry fee per entry will be charged at check-in.
- It is required that all pre-entries be received by August 4. No entries will be accepted after that date or
at the Fair. - Exhibitors must purchase a Membership Fair Ticket, or Season Ticket. for 18 years and older and out of
county exhibitors. Junior Fair exhibitors may use their pass to exhibit in open.. - Only the breeds listed which are recognized by the American Standard of Perfection may be exhibited.
- Exhibits need to be checked in between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM on Thursday. No exceptions.
- No entries after 10:00 PM on Thursday.
RULES
- The American Poultry Association Standard of Perfection will be the guide for the judge in awarding
premiums. - There will be a limit of 50 birds per exhibitor
- Exhibitors are limited to no more than 2 cocks, 2 cockerel, 2 hens and 2 pullets per breed.
- Each Exhibitor will be responsible to furnish a balanced ration, care, and feeding of all birds entered
and/or exhibited during the Fair. - All cages must be cleaned daily.
- No cards of advertising matter of any description will be allowed on coops until the Judge has judged
the birds. - Every precaution will be taken to protect the exhibits, but the Fair Board will not be responsible for
any loss that may occur. - Exhibitors must be owners of the fowls they exhibit. Combination exhibits are strictly forbidden. Any
attempt to evade this rule or any false statement in regard to age will exclude the exhibitor from
competing in any class. - Exhibitors are requested to place that entry tags are placed on each coop.
- Junior Fair Exhibitors are given first priority to pen assignments.

- COCKEREL – a male bird under 1 year of age
- HEN – a female bird 1 year old, or older in age
- PULLET – a female bird under 1 year of age
